Under limited supervision, define processes, and create project level architectures for specific applications.

This candidate will provide architecture and development support for applications/ systems that utilize Python, Java, AWK and Bash scripts, Raspberry PI, SQL Lite, JMS, XML, Github, Jenkins CI/CD, Spring Boot and Cloud technologies.
- Working with business and data architects, evaluate products and projects to ensure congruency with strategic initiatives and industry trends.
- Liaison for Solution Architecture (SA) and Domain/Portfolio Arch (DA) point of Contact
- Establishment of CI/CD/CT Cadence using autobahn pipelines
- Technology evaluation/selection of products, firmware, and upgrades
- Attend/Guide Scrum team demo of solution
- Attend/Influence Release Planning Events (PIPE)
- Escalation point of contact for Blockers (UX Design, Product Owner deficiency, Cadence issues)
- Mentor Devs in Cloud Native Build and Technical Tenants
- Assist in Promoting TDD (test driven development)
- Validation of ecosystem and component scaling, throttling, protecting service - Creation and Tuning of Feature Flags and configuration automation with awareness to system symbolic automation
- Orchestration of app monitoring and logging best practices (AppD, Splunk, etc.)
- Provide technical advice to resolve production problems
- Device and accessories procurement
- Assist with onsite testing of hardware devices and onsite support
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills considered a plus:
Knowledge of scanning technologies, network and Bluetooth services, microservices architecture, data storage approaches, benefits, and drawbacks: RDBMS, NoSQL, Columnar Database is a plus
Domicile Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems and/or equivalent formal.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications: Domicile location of Memphis, TN is highly preferred. Remote can be an option in select cases.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
