Job Summary


The Freight Invoice Resolution Leader/Supervisor is responsible to lead a team of individual contributors in WI and OH that provide carrier freight invoice resolution services. Responsibilities include managing internal metrics, customer KPI’s, and providing an escalation point for customer and carrier issues. This role is accountable to support customer and FedEx P&L strategies

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Actively seek and provide Teammate and Leadership Development:
a. Create vision of education roadmap (skillsets needed to support service offerings),
b. Performance Management (skill development, coaching, feedback, recognition),
c. Talent Management (increase knowledge and skills through specific opportunities) and
d. Succession planning
2. Collaborate across all functional areas to ensure accurate and timely carrier payment to enable timely and accurate customer invoicing
3. Develop, implement and manage effective carrier freight bill resolution processes and systems to support timely resolution, visibility and metrics
- Activities include Invoice match, invoice approvals, discrepancies resolution and escalation point
4. Suggest continuous improvement opportunities related to best practices and industry trends
5. Accountable for Work instruction creation
6. Responsible for SOW/SOP compliance
7. Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
8. Performs other duties as required.

Education Requirements

A High School Diploma is required for this positon
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation Management is preferred

Required Experience

Two or more years of demonstrated leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or invoicing to include directing the work of others in a supervisory capacity.
5 to 7 years of the above experience is preferred
