Job Summary:
The Manager, Freight Solutions Sales provides leadership and direction to a team of front-line leaders. The Manager, Freight Solutions Sales is accountable for the day-to-day operations, identifying and implementing process efficiencies and strategies across multiple accounts. Provides support to the sales team in pursuit of new commercial business accounts. Collaborates with the Account Management team in support of customer requirements.

This role ensures strategies and initiatives implemented by sales support a profitable revenue and growth.

Your Day:

Motivate sales supervisors and sales teams to maximize sales efforts; provide guidance, coaching, counseling to supervisors and sales teams.

Design and implement monitoring programs and incentive plans to increase performance standards, and results.

Implement policies and procedures including setting goals, standards and benchmarks to evaluate staff performance.

Evaluate policies and incentives to ensure that they are driving desired behaviors.

Maintain attendance and performance data.

Develop and recommend processes, structures, and programs to increase productivity.

Develop direct report team for professional growth.

Report the results of sales efforts and evaluate the effectiveness.

Implement and monitor qualified lead generation and management programs.

Review and respond to daily outbound call statistics

What we are looking for:

7 -10 years of sales leadership experience including directing the work of others in a supervisory capacity.

5 years’ experience in transportation/logistics with a focus in brokerage.

Experience leading a team with cold calling.

Refrigerated transportation brokerage experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Excellent communication skills.
