Position Overview:

Job Summary

The Invoice Resolution Coordinator is responsible for processing carrier freight bills according to the established contracted carrier rates. This role will ensure these payments are accurate and timely by obtaining the invoices, applying business rules, and ensuring an accurate duplicate check is in place.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

· Responsible to understand aspects of commercial agreements, the impact to the business, and to carry out the requirements of customer agreements and ensure SOP compliance

· Responsible to manage KPI’s; EDI Resolution, Matched out of Tolerance

· Responsible tasks to support the Invoice Resolution process include but not limited to:

· Monitor and track carrier invoices from initial receipt to final payment, Maintain internal relationships with the finance operations and customer operations to support customer requirements

· Responsible to identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities utilizing QDM.

· Review and recommend innovative improvement initiatives with a focus on eliminating root cause of reoccurring issues.

· Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· 2 years’ relevant freight payment or accounting experience is preferred.

· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Experience with a Cloud Based TMS

· Ability to identify and resolve reoccurring rating and billing discrepancies

· Strong communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and statement of work (SOW)
