Position Summary:

To effectively manage a team, including managers within assigned departments and/or locations. Ensures that department and/or operational goals are achieved and processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently. Ensure that all activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities may be within country or across numerous countries.

  • Senior manager responsible for air network ramps & gateways in the region of South East Europe: GR, TR, CY, and additional surrounding flight points
  • Achieves the business/service goals for assigned operational area
  • Ensures ongoing compliance with FedEx standards & relevant regulatory requirements
  • Includes securing appropriate resources (people, budgets, equipment etc)
  • Develops & implements effective processes, systems, procedures & controls to achieve the required results within the relevant business/industrial relations/cultural environment
  • Focuses on supporting the development & retention of profitable business
  • Provides service excellence by leveraging the PSP philosophy to inspire, engage & develop a motivated Team who deliver the required results
  • Responsibilities include regional interactions with government bodies, airport authorities, network, ground operations, customs etc.
