As Industrial Engineer in Field Planning & Engineering you get to work in an influential role in a dynamic team with great impact on the current everyday life as well as the future operation of our company. You will act as internal consultant focused on improvement opportunities, analysis of processes, justification of business cases, and implementation of new solutions and products. This will all happen in an international work environment with global perspectives and a local focus and responsibility.
Your work as engineer
Perform fact finding and data analysis to identify and promote cost savings and prepare business recommendations to management and senior executives.
Identify and support operational improvements through e.g. workflow mapping, manning modelling, volume analysis, and layout optimization.
Contribute to problem solving with a structured approach including root cause analysis, workflow analysis, data mining, etc.
Implementation of new solutions and procedures, including assessment of local impacts, collection and publication of local data, and follow up on KPIs and metrics.
We are looking for
Industrial engineer with Bachelor or higher degree or related higher professional qualifications in e.g. mechanical engineering, data analytics, statistics, or economics.
An analytic, structured, and logical thinking person, who is good with numbers, accountable, and self-driven, and will take ownership and produce quality work.
Someone with strong and advanced skills in Excel and databases, and have experience with data mining and crunching huge amounts of complex data.
Education and experience in operational optimization and process improvement.
People who thrive in a cross-functional team and have some project experience.
Good command of oral and written English communication being able to convey messages in a convincing manner, create solid documentation (graphs, drawings, tables), and make presentations to different audiences.
