Develops and implements multimedia communication materials and channels to disseminate company messages and information to various audiences including all employees, independent contractors and independent service providers. Ensures messaging is accurate and meets the needs of internal clients.
•Creates video footage utilizing additional internal or external resources as required.
•Edits footage to ensure alignment with client’s requirements and corporate initiatives.
•Maintains an archive and backs up all multimedia material captured and/or utilized.
•Facilitates the development of solutions for media delivery to various audiences.
•Manages projects from conception to completion on time and within budget.
•Researches new products and alternative solutions for creating and delivering multimedia materials.
•Works with business areas, project teams and other internal clients to understand their communication objectives and propose multimedia solutions.
•Performs other duties as assigned
•Bachelor’s degree in communications, video production or related field required. In addition to Minimum Experience, high school degree or GED and four (4) years video editing/producing experience is accepted in lieu of degree.
•Two (2) years of experience required in a corporate communications department or professional video editing/producing environment demonstrating competence in all areas of video production.
Required Skills, Abilities and / or Licensure
•Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
•Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
•Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
•Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
•Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to online and multimedia communications solutions, strong writing and editing skills, and hands-on experience with audio and video production software and equipment.
Other Job Description Information
•Experience capturing and editing digital photography preferred.
•Experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
