Job Description

Responsible for providing professional level support and guidance to employees and management with an emphasis on employee engagement.

1. Lead and support the employee survey year round process focusing on employee engagement, feedback and action planning
2. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to partners and stakeholders for ongoing employee engagement initiatives
3. Research, evaluate and make recommendations pertaining to issues affecting employee morale and employee engagement
4. Partner with peers in other departments, functional areas, and/or operating companies on best practices concerning employee engagement topics
5. Manage change elements required for implementation of initiatives
6. Manage and oversee communication components related to work responsibilities
7. Participate with management in planning executive departmental goals and objectives as needed
8. Manage the Purple Ribbon and Disaster Relief initiatives for FedEx Freight and partner with other operating companies on Enterprise related initiatives
9. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
10. Perform other duties as required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Human Resources Management, I/O Psychology or other related field plus five (5) years’ Human Resources related business and/or consulting experience
Strong Microsoft office skills including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Demonstrated project management skills
Relationship management experience with outside vendors or business partners preferred
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Must be able to manage multiple projects with established deadlines
Excellent creative and human relations skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Proven problem solving skills
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
