Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for administrative functions related to the daily operations of the Service Center, as well as monitoring and providing work instructions to Dock Associates in the absence of the Service Center Manager.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform administrative functions (e.g. filing, answering phones, imaging)
2. Monitor Dock Associates during shift
3. Coordinate Contractors to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight
4. Enter data into current system(s)
5. Track status of shipments as requested
6. Verify and complete required documentation and reports
7. Communicate with sales and operations
8. Assist customers to determine pick-up or delivery needs
9. Demonstrate internal and external customer service
10. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
11. Perform other duties as required


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (English and French) (Quebec)


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Demonstrated time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
• Good decision-making skills
• Leadership experience preferred
