This position work location will be 477 Distribution Parkway This position is responsible for escalated troubleshooting and the repair of various electronic devices including hardware, software and peripheral components. Provides guidance and leadership to lower level Technicians. Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages including operating systems. Provides depot technical support to internal and third party organizations. Provides reporting and failure trend information to the Lead and/or Manager. Assists with training of lower level technicians.


KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize and troubleshoot issues
  • Demonstrated skills in repairing various electronic devices and/or operating equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills required
  • Must exhibit promptness and attention to detail
  • Training of lower level technicians

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Associates degree or equivalent plus 4 years of experience in technical support or a technical repair environment required
  • Applicable industry certification (preferred)
All education must be verified and accredited by the Department of Education
