• The primary responsibility of the Country / Sub-regional Engineering & Operational Excellence Specialist is to support the Country Manager to ensure process excellence and performance improvements enabling FedEx Trade Networks delivering an outstanding customer experience day in day out. • Act as an ambassador to instill the culture of the People Service Profit (PSP) Philosophy, Quality Driven Management (QDM) and delivering Purple Promise • Facilitates the country / regional (if applicable) management to manage their service levels towards the customers • Monitors and supports compliance to the global, regional and country best practices • Is responsible that all processes and practices are documented in accordance with the global, regional and country quality management system (DLP’s, SLA’s, working instructions, etc.) in collaboration with the Regional Operational Process Engineering & Technology Specialist EMEIA • Supports Country/Sub-regional management with identifying and project manage process improvements • Collaborates with Regional E&O Team in all areas of responsibilities. • The role reports to the Country / Sub-regional E&O Manager and if not in place to the Country / Sub-regional Manager with a dotted line to the Regional Manager Operational Excellence & Engineering EMEIA


Performance Management
·         Supports the local teams by providing performance metrics & reports, pareto charts  
·         Facilitates root cause analysis and improvement measures which needs to be performed by the local teams
·         Support the local teams to ensure sustainable performances (i.e.: imbed performance improvements in daily work, facilitates or organizes training, creating awareness)
·         Prepare performance reviews country, regional and global performance reviews (i.e.: WAR) in collaboration with Country Management
·         Support the local teams, where required, by enabling them to conduct daily huddles

Operational Process Engineering & Technology
·         Supports the Regional Operational Process Engineering & Technology Specialist with documenting and the replication of the Best Practices processes and FTN’s Quality Management System (QMS)
·         Support the local teams with ensuring compliance to the Best Practice processes and FTN’s QMS
·         Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of people, processes and technology

Customer Implementation
·         Coordinate complex customer implementations in collaboration with the Regional Customer Implementation Manager EMEIA as support of the Branch Manager Customer Service & Operations

Quality Driven Management
·         Supports the Country Management Team with defining a QDM agenda and manage it accordingly
·         Supports the Front Line employees & managers to apply QDM in their daily jobs, just do it improvement actions
