The Manager, Business Agility, is responsible for leading a team that owns the FXL Agile enablement roadmap, performs Portfolio Execution processes and executes Portfolio Program Management cadences and processes for FXL. Business Agility is focused on transforming how FXL delivers on the strategy by using the new governance process, business architecture and new roles to deliver business value. The Manager will work with FXL senior leadership to positively influence the adoption of the business agility organizational capabilities. This position will work with the FXL Business Units (BU) Strategic Portfolio Committees (SPCs) to execute the Portfolio management practices, mature the performance of the value streams and deliver committed business value tied.
- Lead the development and implementation of the FXL Business Agility transformation roadmap. Deliver insights and feedback to continuously improve performance and results.
- Responsible for Agile enablement (process owner, value stream launch and maturity, value stream health metrics, providing guidance and coaching to those in Agile roles)
- Own the SPC processes to make priorities visible, execute SPC portfolio cadences and provide oversight in conjunction with other stakeholders (i.e. Finance, IT, Engineering, Product). Train employees to execute the FXL Portfolio Execution processes.
- Responsible for execution of Portfolio Program Management. Train employees to facilitate the FXL cross-value stream cadence to align dependencies and remove obstacles for each Program Increment (PI), and provide update for the Value Stream leadership team to remove obstacles.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the stakeholders on how to execute new processes within the Business Agility framework
- Partner with Communications to develop and champion change management plans to promote adoption across Value Streams, stakeholders and FedEx Senior Leadership
- Knowledge of, and experience using key market intelligence sources.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Technology or related discipline required. Five (5) years’ experience required in a technical or professional position with at least two (3) years leading end-to-end cross-functional projects. Two (2) years SAFe/Agile/Lean experience required. A strong knowledge of overall strategic company initiatives and demonstrated experience delivering strategy through the Value Stream construct preferred. Certification in Business Architecture preferred. Systems thinking; Informed awareness of the impact and influence of broader industry and technology trends on our business. Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain and present complex information to all levels.
