Under close supervision, ensures application of systems thinking principles, allowing team members to independently design, code, test, and deploy software. Apply modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch new business capabilities.

Provides the necessary documentation to support the Software Development Life Cycle.
Develops prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technology.
Applies modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.
Responsible for implementing financial and customer solutions.
Design, develop and implement enterprise scale solutions to support the organization’s business strategy and goals.
Communicate with business analysts to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
Review requirements and data models and translate into responsible applications and architecture.
Conduct design and code reviews with extended team to ensure that code meets FedEx Enterprise Foundation Services standards.
Track and resolve software defects. Support test execution including system level and integration tests.
Two (2) year degree in MIS/equivalent experience required.
0-2 years’ work experience preferred.
Oral and written communication skills are required to perform many aspects of this position, including writing reports and working with management and staff.
Communication is required with management and other internal team members.
Ability to think logically, analytically and anticipate the effects of proposed and pending modifications is required to develop comprehensive applications that efficiently support business requirements.
***Specific skills required ***
ETL: Knowledge of ETL concepts with Analytical skills. Familiarity with ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica. Familiarity with working in a Linux env, Ability to write complex SQL queries is a plus.
