To develop and achieve the sales planning of the worldwide account team. This includes all sales goals, as well as increase market share and enhance customer satisfaction as set forth in FTN's annual sales plan for all global sales. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning all worldwide sales activities required to achieve FTN's territorial goals. This will include hiring, training worldwide account executives preparing budgets, developing strategic sales plans and programs, and coordinating all worldwide sales activities with account executives.


Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a staff of worldwide prof and administers an annual operating budget. Ensures that key ww accts are provided with ongoing support and serves as liaison between multiple departments who provide services for those accounts. Provides support on cross OpCo sales initiatives by working closely with services and express sales teams domestically and in the international regions. Participates in developing and implementing ww strategies that enhance the service provided to key accounts. Responsible for the attainment of assigned domestic and international revenue goals for key accounts for worldwide sales. Assists in the development, implementation, and analysis of business development activities, marketing programs, pricing and related procedures and policies for worldwide sales. Develops and assigns timely and challenging revenue objectives for each business development staff member to ensure the team meets its revenue goal. Provides qualitative and quantitative support for global business development. Produces timely and accurate reports, analyses, and recommendations to meet management requirements.

Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience. This position requires extensive experience in all aspects of transportation and customs brokerage to manage the activities of worldwide account team. This experience is essential to develop, plan, implement and evaluate worldwide sales programs and recognize potential problems and opportunities for the leadership of the worldwide account team. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of the companies engaged in customs brokerage and int'l trans is essential. Knowledge of of int'l trade and logistics services product lines is desirable. Four (4) years of field sales experience and/or two (2) years in a sales management position required.
