Position is responsible for developing strategic plans and processes in support of implementing effective sales strategies to meet company objectives.


Advises the planning of applications development and maintenance activities within assigned areas of responsibility as related to sales. Identifies and defines improvements and changes that will impact the sales business processes. Develops application requirements and designs for business processes, while evaluating vendor applications, and planning for the proposed implementation of those initiatives. Evaluates, prioritizes and selects the projects for implementation with sales management. Develops and maintains a work plan and checks for consistency along the project with project priorities and desired outcomes. Leads the execution of applications development and maintenance activities within assigned areas of responsibility. Ensures that sales related work activities are performed in accordance with established standards and methodologies. Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of company business processes within assigned areas of responsibility. Leads periodic reviews and assessments of current sales applications and initiates proposals to modify or replace applications as necessary. Develops and implements special projects as assigned. Assist in the development of sales compensation and performance models for the purpose of connecting and evaluating sales incentive programs with actual sales performance data. Assist in the implementation of compensation and performance models and maintenance activities within assigned areas of responsibility.

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, education or related discipline. Five (5) years of experience in the same industry and competitive market environment preferred. Strong human relations, communications skills, verbal and written, and analytical skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Strong leadership, customer-service orientation and decision-making skills. Position requires the ability to work independently and as a team player.
