Designs, develops and implements complex management/compliance programs for high impact third party vendor initiatives with a goal to maximize the protection of FedEx Corporation-s financial, operational information and reputation assets. Leads in the development of strategic initiatives addressing risk analysis, reporting, containment, mitigation in compliance with internal and regulatory controls as well as other general accounting duties as assigned. Leads peer and cross functional/departmental teams in risk control initiatives including consistent quality improvements. Mentors less senior staff. Works on multiple complex assignments concurrently. Leads brainstorming and development of recommendations for highly complex initiative recommending best methods and enterprises improvements.

Job Specific Information:

This position will design and develop vendor management and compliance programs in coordination with Information Security, SOX, and Sourcing teams. Position will include some domestic and international travel.

Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:

  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience in audit and compliance
  • Project management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/equivalency in business, finance, information technology or related field. Minimum six (6) years work experience in quantitative, business problem solving, project management, audit, governance controls, procurement and/or risk management. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Innovative analytical skills. Superior knowledge of risk management discipline. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including presentation skills. Proven ability to lead, collaborate, facilitate and interact at all levels.

This position is domiciled in Memphis, TN. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
