Supports the strategic programs of FedEx by conducting operations and other related analyses vital to the long term success of the corporation. Leads the development and implementation of analytical approaches and solutions Including network planning and design, service quality, productivity and efficiency, and competitive and market assessments. Work typically involves multiple FedEx operating companies and third party business partners requiring frequent collaboration with project leaders and analysts in various operating units, providing guidance and coaching to analytical efforts led by others, and collaborating with management to ensure analytical efforts are designed and implemented with high quality.

Job Specific Information:
This Advisor position is part of Operations Analysis (OA) in FedEx Corporate based in Memphis. As an integral member of the Industry Research team, this position supports executive decision-making and operational excellence by developing research and analytical insights to shape the strategic direction of FedEx. As a consultant exploring energy, competitive, and the logistics industry, this position will lead identification of new opportunities and their value.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business administration, operations research, or other relevant quantitative or technical discipline. Master's Degree preferred. Six (6) years’ experience applying operations analysis techniques in a practical business setting. Familiarity with transportation and logistics industries. Demonstrated ability to independently develop and implement analytical approaches and solutions. Knowledge and application of advanced operations research, statistics, forecasting and/or network planning. Strong program leadership, organizational, business process, human relations, and communication skills.

This position is domiciled in Memphis, TN. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
