To provide knowledge, testing, programming, and technology related support to merchants and internal teams related to FedEx Cross Border e-Commerce software solutions.
Assists merchants with on-going technology support (primarily development teams) with programming, testing, and debugging their implementation of our SDK, API, SOAP requests, etc. Maintain merchant relationships by providing issue triage and monitoring service level agreement. Work with internal IT resources (developers, network and database administrators) to determine system requirements, assist with testing and troubleshooting, and system monitoring. Serve as communication link between various areas of Cross Border including Information Systems, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Operations to include gathering and preparing data for internal and external use. Stay current with technology practices and tools to remain effective assisting merchants and to apply internal tools and workflows. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in computer science or computer technology. Five (5) years e-Commerce experience in a technology environment including broad experience and understanding of all components of modern e-Commerce websites including server and client side code, frameworks, e-Commerce and CMS platforms, SOAP REST API’s, data types, networking, and security. Familiarity with associated tools such as FTP, SSH, proxies, browser inspection tools, and postman. Development and coding experience required. Strong human relations, communications and analytical skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks; excellent organizational skills.
