Establishes and implements portfolio management processes and methodologies for the organization. Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing capabilities and value stream financials. Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field. Seven (7+) years work experience in information technology or engineering environment. Ability to work internationally and cross-departmentally with business partners, engineering, user experience designers, developers and product owners. Must be proactive, detail-oriented, results-oriented problem solver. Ability to balance long term goals against immediate concerns in the areas of aligning business cases to strategies, and breaking it down to program level deliverables. Leadership ability to motivate and influence SVP, VP level business partners and IT partners. Strong communication skills and ability to translate highly complex technical issues to non-technical audience. Candidates must be able to work in a team environment, possess good written and oral communications skills for presenting and documentation. Must have advanced problem-solving, multi-tasking, customer service, organizational skills.Position will require travel within the US and/or travel worldwide. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
Enables strategic business-IT alignment by leading the governance of FTN’s full portfolio of initiatives and spend; includes facilitating the IT Steering Committee, composed of SVP & VP-level business partners, and monthly business reviews with major function / business unit as appropriate. Maintains oversight of all IT programs, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and reported. Helps define technology investment parameters, priorities and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment. Establishes and implements portfolio management processes and methodologies for the department / organization. Assists in the development of solid business cases that include ROI, run-rate benefits, required Capital and Operational expense investment, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)/TBM across IT and its business partners; evaluates the achievement of each business case and leads program retrospectives. Leads, model,s and educates technology and business delivery teams in good practices from the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), etc. Provides transparency and enables collaboration between the IT organization and its business partners.
