To perform administrative, sales support, and other related clerical duties supporting grade levels 18-20 management positions, and regional sales executives.


Performs administrative functions, which require knowledge of general office procedures, including maintaining follow-up files, assembling materials for reports and composing correspondence. Schedules appointments and maintains manager's calendar. May coordinate arrangements for staff meetings, conferences, and business travel. Composes and distributes meeting notes. Utilizes a personal computer as necessary to assist management and sales staff in developing various documents. Files, retrieves, and maintains documents, records, and reports utilizing electronic and paper filing systems. Collaborate with Sales management and executives relative to revenue attainment support. Prepares transportation pricing requests or customer spot quotes and assists with new account setup as required. Uses iSell to provide detailed reporting to allow analysis of business metrics related to Sales. Generates correspondence and reports as directed, in conjunction with daily activities. Tracks and monitors projects from request state through distribution of final documents with directions from management. May reply to customers directly via phone or email.

High school diploma/GED. Four (4) years related business experience including two (2) years as a secretary/administrative assistant or other related FedEx experience. PC experience, and intermediate skills with Microsoft Office software. Must be able to use a computer keyboard effectively. Good spelling, punctuation, and basic english grammar skills are required. Good organizational, telephone, and business etiquette skills required. Familiarity with and the ability to use office equipment (copier, 10-key, fax).
