To manage FedEx Trade Networks t&b's enterprise finance systems and applications as well as the enterprise information databases to include the enterprise accounting system, party profile, centralized check writing, discoverer report writing, sales incentive reporting, and appropriate peoplesoft accounting applications. Acts as a liaison between operational associates, information systems, sales, marketing and accounting/finance associates and management as well as participate in cross op initiatives. Responsible for project management activities related to enterprise finance.


Manages multiple projects simultaneously while managing and tracking project tasks and deliverables utilizing project management tools and methodologies. Participates in the management of strategic and tactical information requirements and provide guidance regarding solutions and alternatives to meet business needs. Responsible for financial analysis and all aspects of costing and managing project financials. Manages department activities such as the coordination of the validation of external feeds into the appropriate enterprise systems and development of written procedures to support system process; oversees the enterprise accounting system's monthly closing process for accuracy and completeness; reviews system processes and develop recommendations for improvement. Project management responsibilities include development of project plans, defining project deliverables, facilitating meetings, creating testing scripts, executing testing scripts, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, developing plans to mitigate project risks, developing training materials, conducting training, and monitoring project status. Supporting critical business strategies by managing the development, and implementation, of business initiatives. Gathering & analyzing business requirements, documentation and completion of all project phases from design, development, & testing (system integration, user acceptance) to deployment. Identifies problem areas w/business & financial requirements & provides the necessary corrections & recommendations for resolution. Manages all future maintenance and upgrades to various enterprise accounting, party profile, centralized check writing, and discoverer report writing software applications and databases. Ensures accurate representation of enterprise information as related to legacy and other interfacing applications regardless of platform. Interfaces with business community and information systems to define requirements and preserve data integrity and security based upon user requests while maintaining compliance with internal control objectives and guidelines (i.e. Sarbanes Oxley and corporate objectives). Manages and participates in the resolution of incoming user questions and requests and interfaces with information system representatives in testing and implementing these requests. Provides management with ongoing project, development and system statuses through communication of project plans, work plans and reports (summarized or detailed as necessary).

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business or it. Master's degree preferred. Four (4) years of accounting and/or enterprise experience. Must have systems management and project management experience. Good communication, interpersonal and basic management skills required. Brokerage and transportation experience preferred.

  • Schedule: M-F, 8-5pm.  Evenings, weekends and holidays as needed for system support
