Under direction , review specific business requirements and systems design, and tranform user requirements into automated processes.


Develops and modifies software for minimum to low complexity projects which achieves the business requirements and performs the necessary automated processing. Documents the automated processes and data files. Meets the objectives of an approved design proposal by developing efficient programming language code, screen image, command procedure code and data files. Resolves system problems by analyzing the conditions to determine the cause and, if appropriate, taking corrective action after discussion w/senior level associates. This could entail advising the users on the applications. Accountable for testing new or modified programs, verifying logic and performing any necessary debugging to assure system quality in accordance with established procedures. Works on reported use help incidents to: (1) gaining an understanding of the issues (2) research by interviewing, consulting documentation and reviewing programs (3) recommending the solution and implementing if appropriate.

2 Year degree in mis or equivalent experience required.
2 Years work exp preferred.
Knowledge in:

  • Java 8 backend experience
  • Web Services
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • WebLogic 10+ or Tomcat 7+
  • Experience with Restful API's or Spring framework
  • Experience with AngularJS

Oral & written communication skills are required to perform many aspects of this position, including writing reports & working w/mgmt & staff. Communication is required w/mgmt and other internal team members. Ability to think logically, analytically and anticipate the effects of proposed and pending modifications is required to enable incumbent to develop a comprehensive application to efficiently support the business requirement.
