MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VISION PLANS

FedEx Freight (FXF) offers a variety of medical, dental and vision plans to full-time and part-time employees and their eligible dependents. Medical plans are administered by either Cigna Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross or Kaiser Permanente (for employees in California). When employees enroll in a FedEx Medical Plan option administered by Anthem or Cigna, they automatically get prescription drug coverage from OptumRx.
FedEx Freight provides various dental plan options administered by Cigna Dental. These Cigna Dental PPO and HMO plans provide comprehensive benefits, delivered via a nationwide network of preferred provider dentists who offer dental care at negotiated (discounted) fees.
FXF vision plan includes options administered by Davis Vision. Employees may use in-network or out-of-network eye care providers. Employees and eligible dependents also have access to the Advantage Eye Care Program through Davis Vision and may purchase vision care services and eyewear at specially negotiated prices.


EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

But whether that challenge is big or small, the Employee Assistance & Work/ Life Support Program is available to help FedEx Freight team members and their family find solutions and restore peace of mind. PERSONAL/SICK PAID TIME

FXF provides eligible full-time and part-time hourly and staff nonexempt employees in active work status the opportunity to accrue personal/sick time which may be used for illness (personal or family member) and/or as personal time.

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

FedEx Freight provides a tuition assistance program for eligible U.S. and Canada based employees enrolled in certain educational courses. Full-time employees are eligible for assistance up to $5,000 for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses per calendar year per employee. Part-time employees are eligible for assistance up to $2,500 for undergraduate and graduate courses per calendar year per employee.


DRIVER DEVELOPMENT COURSE (DDC) PROGRAM

The Driver Development Course (DDC) supports FXF's growth by providing professional driving skills development for eligible employees. Eligible Driver Apprentices complete a professional truck driver school curriculum while maintaining their current FXF employment. Driver Apprentices who successfully complete the DDC will be promoted to a driving position once they have successfully completed all course requirements.

VACATION

FXF provides paid vacation time to full-time employees. Vacation time is accrued monthly and based on continuous time with the company.


ADOPTION ASSISTANCE BENEFIT

The adoption reimbursement benefit reimburses eligible employees up to $5,000 for one adoption per plan year (up to $15,000 lifetime maximum) for qualifying adoption expenses.
