Position Summary

The Lead Network Fulfillment Center Specialist oversees definition and customer service at the Network Fulfillment Center (NFC). This position will be responsible for the management of NFC processes by coaching and training Network Fulfillment Specialists. The Lead Network Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for network and workload evaluations and facilitate order routing (load balancing) to the proper manufacturing location using tools and systems provided. The Lead Network Fullfillment Specialist will fucntion as a supervisor and a liasion between the Network Fulfillment Cetner and various internal business partners

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the NFC queue including; file preparation and order routing to the Manufacturing Network
  • Evaluate the efficiency and productivity of the NFC and Centralized Production
  • Conduct regular quality assurance sessions with NFC Specialists and Representatives in order to coach/mentor and provide feedback
  • Train and coach NFC Specialists and Representatives on processes and systems training to ensure consistency and continuous improvement
  • Provide backup to the NFC Specialists and Representatives when necessary
  • Define and document NFC processes and procedures
  • Supervise NFC Specialists and Representatives to maintain throughput and consistent service levels
  • Resolve issues escalated by Office & Print Centers and Centralized Production Centers in an expeditious and professional manner; escalate unresolved issues to management, as appropriate
  • Manage and distribute reporting as requested by NFC management
  • Perform statistical analysis to drive continuous improvement
  • Consult with Operations, Sales, National Bid Center and the National Dispatch Center on high value orders/customers to determine optimum production and transportation solutions
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • 3+ years print production experience preferred
  • 2+ years technical experience related to pre-press workflow and image file formats
  • Experience with digital file preflight, imposition, and job ticketing tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Visio
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite preferred
  • Must be willing to work in different shifts, as needed, to cover hours of normal operation
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook
