Position Summary

As a Senior HR Technology Advisor for FedEx Office, you will be part of a passionate team of Human Resources (HR) professionals that seek to create and facilitate effective and engaging employee experiences. Through strong business partner consultation and your excellent understanding of HR and its supporting technology, you will bring your creativity, cutting edge insights, and passion to uncover and provide best-in-class technology solutions that support the fulfillment of the employee experience. In this role, you will be responsible for leading major HR technology initiatives and projects, mentoring peers, building relationships with internal IT teams, working with vendors, and presenting to senior leadership. Your activities will include consulting on, researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, piloting, and deploying HR technology solutions and maintaining the HR technology ecosystem.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop strong business relationships through partner consultation to understand business requirements, uncover potential solutions, create project proposals, determine project goals, and implement project initiatives
  • Research emerging HR platforms, practices, and technologies and analyze industry benchmarks/data for selecting and implementing HR technology and provide recommendations for integrating into FedEx Office HR ecosystem
  • Lead complex cross-functional (Business partners, L&D, Communications, HRS, IT) project teams in implementing key technology projects
  • Design and develop technology solutions that combine together into the FedEx Office HR technology ecosystem
  • Manage external vendor relationships to ensure that deliverables are consistent with industry norms, our standards, cost and time to market objectives
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the HR systems infrastructure including defining and updating related processes and protocols; instituting appropriate escalation procedures, and coordinating with other support teams
  • Conduct training as required to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing use of various technologies and platforms
  • Participate in appropriate professional organizations to remain current in HR and HR Technology
  • Design and implement effective measurement techniques for HR systems and technology solutions that accurately measure the value or impact of the solution on business results
  • Develop/mentor other members of the team
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years supporting Human Capital Management and/or Learning Management Systems technologies and processes
  • 3+ years project management leadership experience including ability to manage various work streams
  • Preferred experience building and managing vendor relationships
  • Preferred knowledge of various HR technologies including learning and content management systems, performance management systems, virtual video platforms, and performance support solutions
  • Preferred experience working with systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect
  • Desired experience working with solutions such as Axonify, Degreed, Edcast, Zoom and LRS
  • Preferred understanding of industry standard specifications including AICC, SCORM and xAPI
  • Desired experience with HTML, JavaScript, responsive design, and CSS
