Position Summary

The Pricing Analyst III provides support across multiple departments that impacts revenue and profitability across the organization. This position plays an important role in the implementation of pricing strategies and policies through the use of various analytical and reporting tools. The Pricing Analyst develops pricing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis and may be called to present to senior management across the organization.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze price, volume, revenue and profit data to determine financial impact and performance of pricing, promotional and new product initiatives
  • Perform analysis to determine commercial customer profitability; coordinate and present findings to senior management
  • Develop quantitative models to support pricing strategies and related projects
  • Analyze large amounts of data and provide recommendations based on analysis
  • Participate in competitive research initiatives to benchmark pricing nationally
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of pricing policies
  • Maintain existing pricing reports and support new reporting initiatives
  • Participate in cross functional projects requiring pricing representation as they arise
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in Pricing, Finance or related field
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with Business Objects and/or SAS programming preferred
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
