Position Summary

The Systems Analyst is responsible for system administration and deployment including determination of business requirements, integration, quality assurance, processing, reporting, training, documentation, and user support.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer system functions, as applicable
  • Testing, Implementation and integration of new business/product lines and/or business process changes
  • Create and implement test scripts to validate Application Quality Assurance and certification of timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Conduct Control Self-Monitoring assessments and implement remediation plans as needed
  • Translate business needs into system requirements
  • Enforce Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), as applicable
  • Support projects with vendors, business community and system programmers
  • Perform role of Business Project Manager for specific projects
  • Gather report requirements, develop, test and deploy reports/queries
  • Participate as subject matter expert during meetings
  • Expense analysis, trends, G/L data reporting/querying/analysis and forecasting
  • Provide application training and on-going support to user community
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years general accounting experience and application support experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with large, publicly held corporations - multiple locations, entities and currencies preferred
  • Proficient in common financial spreadsheet programs as well as integrated and payroll, GL, and timekeeping systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
  • System security and administration experience as applicable to specific responsibility

  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position
