Position Summary

The Senior Recruiter is primarily responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring for exempt level FedEx Office positions. This position supports business partners with recruiting strategies to fill current needs and help build a bench of qualified candidates. This position supports in preparing, analyzing, and responding accordingly to hiring plans, conduct interviews, source, recruit, screen, and qualify candidates from a variety of sources including referrals, on-line submissions, internet strategies, and open houses. This position also assists with measurement/reporting of the effectiveness of current recruitment strategies.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with FedEx Office business partners to conduct analysis of hiring needs and develop recruitment strategy for sourcing qualified candidates to ensure that open positions have candidates within established guidelines
  • Coordinate with business partners to ensure timely submission of requisitions using the appropriate approval process
  • Generate applicants for open positions via internal career site, internet postings, and utilizes other advertising medium as necessary and may post openings with special interest organizations
  • Conduct prescreen interviews
  • Champion promote from within through collaboration with managers and supervisors on team member promotions and career advancements
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures responsible for preparation of offer document using established salary administration guidelines, submission of background check, drug screening and incentive guarantees
  • Provide region level reporting on current openings and recruiting activity for open positions (e.g. National Tracker or other required reports)
  • Execute diversity recruiting initiatives
  • Develop and maintain external networking relationships through participation in career fairs, community events and online resources
  • Support manager new hire orientation and on-boarding process and coach/train hiring managers on interview skills and hiring practices
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or related field
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing duties
  • Experience identifying obstacles and creating solutions to complex problems
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook
