This is an interview position.


To coordinate operations within the service area including standard performance checks. To direct the work activities and to lead employees, provide training, coaching and mentoring to new/current employees. To assist management by performing administrative functions as required/directed

Temporary position, lasting no longer than 12 months

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree/equivalent

Two (2) years of FedEx experience. Operations experience is preferred

Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Standard level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

Must be enrolled and active in the EXCEL program within 3 months of hire OR be EXCEL (previously LEAP) endorsed. Must complete the Excel Leadership Development Stream within the 2 year OMA assignment

Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record

Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service, general operations

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training

Demonstrated ability to handle stress and work in a self-managed environment

Excellent human relations, customer relations and communication skills

Good analytical, problem solving, prioritization and organization skills

Willing to work different schedules and holidays based on business needs
