To provide for the administration of serious, high dollar, international, offshore, or complex cargo claims filed for over $10,000 against FedEx; provides technical direction and training to agents and associates; support management.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED. Professional designation in claims and/or insurance four (4) years experience in cargo claims handling with one (1) year experience as single point of contact for large corporate account loss and damage claims processing. Good knowledge of daily LTL operations of a service center dock and commodities. Must use sound judgment regarding national motor freight classification packing criteria. Strong knowledge of contracts, tort, damages, agency subrogation, contribution/indemnity, and other applicable laws and FedEx features of service. In-depth knowledge of rules and pricing tariffs, Carmack Amendment, NMFC (National Motor Freight Classification) and packaging requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. Strong discretionary skills when assessing claim impact on company. Strong decision making skills when working with customers or claimants.
