This is a 10-week assignment for students pursuing a college degree. Assignments are directly related to intern's academic degree. Under direct Supervision, performs duties as assigned. Student participates in a number of Organized events providing visibility into the overall operations of FedEx.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Student has completed at least two years toward college degree. Enrollment as undergraduate or graduate student in business, communications, journalism, marketing, finance, information systems, supply chain management, engineering, computer science, data analysis, statistics, mathematics, or other related major.

Position Information:

Under close supervision, the successful candidate will collaborate and engage with the Digital Sales teams to provide specialty expertise and support in selling eCommerce services and solutions. Elevate knowledge and expertise of eCommerce through researching industry trends and technology solutions, training and developing sales resources, and working with internal marketing and solutions teams to enhance "Go to Market" strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Experience working in, or selling into online retail or any other ecommerce experience
  • Online entrepreneurial or startup experience and/or exposure to running a business
  • Knowledge of eCommerce trends, solutions, and online retail industry best-practices
  • Knowledge of Sales channel strategies, promotions, and go-to-market processes.
  • Ability to gather and review online research papers, white papers, and industry insights to develop strategic insights
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks – good time and project management skills
  • Strong collaborative and cross-functional relationship building skills with ability to communicate across various internal stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Engaging and personable; able to partner with internal and external customers to develop influential relationships
  • Able to consistently deliver results; meet tight deadlines and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation communication skills
  • Technology proficiency
  • Ability to communicate value of a technical product (i.e software, SaaS, etc.) to a non-technical audience

The following are considered a plus:
  • Enrollment as an undergraduate at junior year or above or graduate student.
  • Ideally, plans to graduate within 12 months of completing the internship and begin full-time employment.

Expected Internship Program Timeline:
  • Interviews typically occur October-January.

  • Internship occurs early June-mid-August.

This position can be domiciled in the Dallas, TX area.
