Provides support services, including research for back office areas such as: payroll, human resources, expense reports, back office systems, and payments to vendors for employees. Responds to employee's inquiries, resolves more complex cases and escalates cases to the appropriate business area for resolution. Acts as an escalation point for callers that need additional assistance. Other operational tasks as assigned. Enters employee data into various systems. Accurately document calls while speaking with employees.
Job Specific Information:
This position is for the 0930 to 1800 shift.
Position will be a part of the Employee Solutions Contact Center. Primary focus will be to provide tier 1 support to FedEx employees who have questions related to payroll, back office systems, human resources or other support areas. This is a contact center environment with heavy phone and case support.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Considered a Plus:
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English)
- Previous contact/call center experience
- Ability to work variable shifts from 7AM to 6PM CST
- Technical troubleshooting, Human Resource knowledge, Disbursements and/or Payroll skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to operate a PC
High school diploma/GED. Four (4) year experience in customer service, back Office information systems support, payroll or human resources. PC ability, verbal and writing skills. Ability to work variable shifts. Good human relations and communication skills.
