Aero Desk Officer
Description
The Aero Desk officer is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and managing shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle to ensure on-time performance, proactive issue resolution, and exceptional customer service. This role serves as the central point of communication between customers, carriers, vendors, operations teams, and internal stakeholders, providing end-to-end visibility and operational control for critical shipments.
• Monitor shipments across air, ground, and multimodal transportation networks.
• Provide proactive tracking and status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Identify potential service disruptions and implement recovery solutions.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, airports, and operational teams to ensure timely movement of freight.
• Manage escalations involving delayed, high-value, time-critical, or AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and update transportation management systems.
• Analyze operational data and generate performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, transportation regulations, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with regional and global teams to facilitate seamless shipment execution.
Knowledge
• Business English (read, written, spoken)
• Additional language is a plus ( Hebrew, Turkish,Spanish..)
• Knowledge of Aerospace Logistics (including handling, shipping, and regulatory requirements)
• Understanding of customs and international shipping documentation Knowledge of computer tools
• Good command of written and oral communication

• 4-6 years’ experience in the aerospace logistics industry (Experience including handling, shipping, and regulatory requirements)
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), tracking platforms, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience with quoting, pricing, and shipment documentation
• Knowledge and understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes
• Driving license is necessary and vehicle autonomy is required
• The position follows a standard workweek schedule (Monday to Friday)
• Occasional extended hours may be required based on urgent movements or projects deadlines
• On-call support is not part of regular responsibilities but may be requested during critical incidents

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: 4,929.36 - 7,886.98 USD Monthly
