Assoc Aircraft Engineer
Description
Designs, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines and components, and their associated systems and equipment.
Essential Functions
- Evaluates service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and other manufacturers data to ensure compliance with FedEx fleet standards and recommends corrective actions to mitigate delays and cancellations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good analytical, communication and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Possess working knowledge of aircraft drawings, manuals, and federal regulations. - Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil engineering B.S. degree (4-yr calculus based) preferred.
