Description

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Booking of shipments, transport processing as well as coordination of handling partners at the seaports
-  Assists in tracing and following up cargo to airport to ensure prompt delivery of freight. 
-  Distributes documents to appropriate parties in a timely manner to ensure smooth flow of export cargo
-  Informs customers of shipment arrival and arrange release and/or delivery
-  Keep track of inbound and out bound shipments and update shipment details in system
- Handle customer inquiries
- Filing of import and export document
-  Contact with our customers, ensuring optimal support and implementing alternative solutions in case of unexpected problems
- Price negotiations with shipping companies, carriers and other service providers
- Other duties as assigned to the position.

REQUIREMENTS:

Academic:
- None/ Completed training as a freight forwarding merchant

Experience & knowledge: 
-  1 - 3 years’ experience
- Good English skills
- Mastery of road freight regulations/procedures
- Very good knowledge of MS-Office

Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Confident appearance
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work
- Flexibility
