Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, finance or related discipline. A master’s degree in a related field may offset experience requirements.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit or operational analysis.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

Knowledge of advanced personal computer applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Essbase Tools or others as necessary. Strong analytical, human relations and communication skills.

Understanding financial modeling concepts for cost/benefit and profit/loss analysis.

Ability to define problems, recognize alternatives, and provide concise recommendations.

Demonstrates flexibility in shifting priorities to meet changing demands.

Proactively anticipates questions and adapts messaging to the audience.

Effectively presents to diverse audiences and uses diplomacy in working through issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Global Flight Costing & System Form Finance: Demonstrated experience evaluating aircraft lane operating costs, routing feasibility, and flight-leg economics against customer pricing to drive global yield rationalization and margin expansion
• Hub, Ramp & Gateway Matrix Finance: Proven track record providing matrix financial support to major sort locations and air hubs (e.g., Memphis World Hub), including operational productivity modeling, wage expense forecasting, and engineering cost-driver analysis
• Advanced Analytics & BI Architecture: Advanced proficiency developing scalable data workflows and executive dashboards utilizing Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau, with proven capability integrating disparate datasets (EDW, airway bills, time codes, and flight telemetry)
• GAF & Cross-Border Operational Integration: Practical expertise in Global Air Freight (GAF) and international network costing, including linehaul optimization, U.S. inbound clearance/customs fee modeling, and multi-regional business case evaluation
• Customer Engineering & Service Governance: Hands-on experience partnering with Engineering and Operations Control to diagnose root-cause service failures, track SLA compliance for top-tier enterprise accounts, and operationalize monitoring/intervention frameworks
• Enterprise Program Leadership & Executive Advisory: Demonstrated success leading high-profile corporate transformation initiatives (e.g., One-FedEx, DRIVE), managing business plan cycles across matrixed divisions, and delivering strategic sensitivity analyses to C-suite leadership

 This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN or Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.

Proficiency in storytelling through written documentation.
