The Southern Border & Cross-Border Solutions is responsible for developing and executing product strategies that drive growth within the Southern Border and Cross-Border Logistics market. This role partners with customers, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology teams to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and deliver innovative customer-focused solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong cross-border logistics expertise, project and program management experience, and a proven ability to execute complex initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps for Southern Border and Cross-Border logistics solutions.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify business challenges and develop innovative customer-focused solutions.
  • Apply customer-centered design principles to improve customer experience and create competitive differentiation.
  • Develop and support go-to-market, marketing, and sales strategies that drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
  • Conduct market, competitive, regulatory, and economic analyses to identify opportunities and business risks.
  • Build business cases, forecasts, and performance metrics to support investment decisions and product prioritization.
  • Lead and execute complex cross-functional projects and programs from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customs, and Technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize analytics and data insights to identify trends, measure results, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-border transportation, customs requirements, trade compliance, and international logistics.
  • Drive accountability for achieving customer, operational, and business performance objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent* in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Product Management, Marketing, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

*Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Required Qualifications

  • Direct experience in cross-border logistics, international transportation, customs operations, trade compliance, or global supply chain management.
  • Experience developing and executing product strategies that deliver measurable customer and business results.
  • Proven project and program management experience leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems and develop innovative customer solutions.
  • Proven track record driving growth, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, or revenue improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing and supporting marketing, sales, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills including business case development, forecasting, financial analysis, KPI measurement, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to generate actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience gathering customer insights and translating business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Strong understanding of U.S.-Mexico trade flows, customs processes, border operations, and international logistics networks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across highly matrixed organizations.
  • Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration with technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting customs brokers, freight forwarders, international trade organizations, or transportation providers.
  • Knowledge of trade modernization initiatives, customs regulations, and border operations.
  • Experience leveraging analytics, automation, AI, or digital technologies to improve customer and business outcomes.

Location

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Miami, FL, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location four (4) times per week.


Travel required based on business and customer needs.


Minimum Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent directly related experience.
Minimum Experience: 

7+ years in product management, industry verticals solutions, or related roles with a proven track record of insights impacting product outcomes. An advanced degree may substitute for experience.

  • Deep understanding of industry verticals products & solutions, both B2B and B2C and customer needs.
  • Advanced Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, and analytical skills.
  • Expert stakeholder management and Communication & Influence abilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

Pay: Memphis range: $9,719.96/mo - $16,523.93/mo; Miami range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo; Pittsburgh range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo; Plano range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo
