Overview / About the Team
The Go to Sales team plays a critical role within Global Sales Enablement, working across the enterprise to ensure sales impacting initiatives are launched to sales in a way that equips, engages and empowers the sales team to grow revenue. This team ensures Sales is informed, aligned, and enabled to drive performance and deliver value to customers. As a Manager of Go to Sales, you will lead the Go to Sales strategy for Commercial priorities, including but not limited to our Vertical Strategy, Automation initiatives and GSO/Solutions initiatives.
This role is responsible for managing a team of project managers who evaluate, build and launch impactful Go to Sales plans and programs. You will use data and AI tools to prioritize internal enablement efforts. Coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams is critical in this role. This is a highly collaborative role that requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Go-to-Market Direction: Formulate and execute Go-to-Sales strategies for enterprise commercial priorities (Verticals, Automation, Solutions, and Pricing), ensuring field sales readiness and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Project Managers. Guide the team to assess cross-project interdependencies, solve complex challenges, and align daily execution with broader business goals.
- Portfolio Orchestration: Prioritize and direct a portfolio of concurrent enablement initiatives. Allocate resources, establish trade-offs, and maintain momentum in ambiguous or fast-changing situations.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the strategic bridge between Marketing, IT/Customer Technology, Pricing, Digital, Legal, and Sales leadership to drive unified commercial launches.
- Operational Modernization: Leverage AI tools, workflow automation, and platforms like Asana to streamline internal processes and drive data-informed decisions.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- People Leadership: Demonstrated success managing, coaching, and developing project or program managers.
- Strategic Judgment & Ambiguity: Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise sound business judgment, and make clear trade-off decisions without a predefined playbook.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Strong track record of driving alignment across matrixed stakeholder groups.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience Considered a Plus
• Strong understanding of internal business processes and roles and responsibilities of stakeholder groups
• Familiarity with Asana and AI tools, including agents
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions, especially with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Digital, GSO/Solutions Enablement teams
• Strong project management skills, including experience leading sales engagement programs and/or marketing campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting global teams and scaling best practices across regions
• Ability to use data-driven insights to inform prioritization and trade off decisions
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years professional business experience in project management, sales, education, communications, or quantitative analysis. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven leadership experience.
Strong human relations, negotiating, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent analytical and process/project management skills.
Ability to innovate and produce high quality results on a consistent basis.
Domicile Information:
The preferred location for this hybrid position Memphis, TN OR Plano, TX OR Pittsburgh, PA OR Miami, FL. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
