Mgr Sort/Support Ops
Description
Job Duties
Plans, organizes and controls the input, movement, process/sort, and output of various functions of hub operations. Ensures a high level of service and on-time launch at a minimal cost. Directs all other necessary activities which provide optimum service to FedEx customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years of management experience in the last five (5) years OR completion of AiM (internal development program). Two (2) years related experience in transportation industry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to successfully complete dg specialist training and to interpret legal documentation regarding hazardous shipments, if required. Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.

Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Minimum Education

Minimum Experience
One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR
Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR
Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR
Bachelor's degree OR
Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
