This is an opportunity for an experienced security professional to make a genuine impact while partnering with operational leaders, government agencies, law enforcement and third-party security providers to deliver best-practice security outcomes. Responsibilities include investigations, loss prevention, security compliance, risk management, security technology, vendor management and stakeholder engagement.

The Impact You'll Make

• Lead investigations relating to theft, loss, misconduct, fraud and security incidents.
• Identify risks and implement practical solutions that improve security outcomes.
• Drive loss prevention and security compliance initiatives across the business.
• Manage relationships with security vendors, law enforcement agencies and key external stakeholders.
• Provide expert security advice to operational and senior leaders.
• Lead security improvement projects that enhance processes, systems and controls.
• Deliver security training and awareness programs to internal stakeholders.
• Analyse security trends and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Support business continuity through effective incident management and security planning.
• Drive Aviation security compliance, initiatives and regulatory changes.

These responsibilities align with the Senior Security Specialist role's focus on investigations, loss prevention, security management, process improvement, compliance, stakeholder engagement and project leadership.

What You Bring

We're looking for a security professional who can confidently operate in a complex operational environment and influence outcomes through expertise, credibility and strong stakeholder relationships.

• 5+ years' experience in Law Enforcement, Corporate Security, Aviation Security, Military or a related field.
• Availability for regular national and international travel
• Experience conducting complex investigations and managing security incidents.
• Strong risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with senior leaders and external agencies.
• Sound judgement and decision-making under pressure.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset focused on delivering business outcomes.

Highly regarded:

• Investigations or compliance experience
• Logistics, transport or aviation regulatory compliance industry experience
• Security risk management expertise
• Vendor and contract management experience
• Security technology or physical security systems knowledge
• Air Cargo security regulation and compliance knowledge and experience
