Job Summary
The Senior Consultant, Global Capabilities Services supports the execution of enterprise transformation initiatives through structured delivery support, analytics, and coordination. This role contributes to planning, tracking, and execution activities across assigned programs and transitions, building foundational expertise in global capability transformation.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this individual will be a key partner in driving organizational strategic items, leading communications, managing run-of-business activities, and supporting critical projects across the broader business.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives on turning strategic goals into actionable plans.
Essential Functions:
Consultive Project & Program Support
- Partner with internal leaders and stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, translating goals into comprehensive project plans and executable strategies.
- Proactively support execution of assigned initiatives by maintaining plans, trackers, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring alignment with business needs and adapting to evolving priorities.
- Take ownership beyond task management of key activities across people, process, technology, and readiness workstreams.
- Track and communicate risks, dependencies, issues, and action items.
Data-Driven Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and maintain program dashboards, status reports, and performance metrics that provide clear insights.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and use that information to tell a compelling story that informs strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Alignment & Change Support
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to support communication, collaboration, and execution activities.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling communications (both written and verbal), training materials, and change enablement content.
- Prepare and present materials for program governance and leadership updates.
Adaptability & Continuous Improvement
- Effectively manage shifting priorities and ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Apply FedEx tools, templates, and methodologies consistently while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Incorporate feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve execution effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent required.
Minimum Experience:
- Five (5) years of experience in project support, transformation delivery, operations, consulting, or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to act as a self-starter, taking initiative to solve problems and drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
- Strong consultative and project management skills, with an ability to understand strategic goals and build a plan to achieve them.
- High adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with changing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and strategic narratives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.

Domicile and Work Model: The preferred location for this hybrid position is Dallas, TX. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

In California, the compensation listed reflects the range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position upon hire. In New Jersey, any compensable Security and Walk time will be paid to non-exempt/hourly employees at the state minimum wage.
