Sr Reliability Program Specialist
Description
Monitors the maintenance program optimization efforts for the A/C fleet with the overall purpose of achieving best in class safety, legal fitness and operational reliability at a minimum cost.
Essential Functions
- Monitors maintenance metrics and other KPI to understand performance and improvement opportunities.
- Leads root cause analysis on equipment or systems failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Partners with site compliance and safety to champion equipment related root causes that impact site operations.
- Ensures multi-department and FAA cross functional coordination and communication on technical program issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance or related technical discipline.
A&P licenses required.
Minimum Experience
- Seven (7) years related air carrier experience involving aircraft maintenance programs, reliability, engineering or aircraft maintenance covered under FAA advisory circulars 120-17B, 120-16G, 25-19A and FAR 12
Project management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills.
Knowledge of MSG-3 theory, process and application.
Knowledge of air carrier maintenance programs.
Strong working/practical knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications, data base skills and statistical analysis and automation tools.
Strong oral and written communication abilities and human relations skills.
