Description

Monitors the maintenance program optimization efforts for the A/C fleet with the overall purpose of achieving best in class safety, legal fitness and operational reliability at a minimum cost.

Essential Functions

Monitors maintenance metrics and other KPI to understand performance and improvement opportunities.
Leads root cause analysis on equipment or systems failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Partners with site compliance and safety to champion equipment related root causes that impact site operations.
Ensures multi-department and FAA cross functional coordination and communication on technical program issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance or related technical discipline.

A&P licenses required.

Minimum Experience

Project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills.

Knowledge of MSG-3 theory, process and application.

Knowledge of air carrier maintenance programs.

Strong working/practical knowledge of Microsoft office suite of applications, data base skills and statistical analysis and automation tools.

Strong oral and written communication abilities and human relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications: The desired location for this position would be Memphis, TN. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week
