Sr Tech Instructor

Description

Creates, develops and presents relevant technical and non-technical training courses in the areas assigned and ensuring maintenance procedures are in accordance with established standards.

Essential Functions

• Develops technical data for manuals and courses, certifying personnel, and performing administrative tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Education

Two (2) years college/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) years experience in instructor's specialty area.

A&P or a general class FCC license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Job Conditions

FAA Covered Safety Sensitive Position. Subject To Regulatory Alcohol & Drug Testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications: The specialty area for this position is a Boeing 777 systems instructor. Strong avionics, wiring troubleshooting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office/ Adobe software suites preferred.
