This is an interview position.
Fournir en temps opportun un entretien de qualité pour le parc de véhicules de Federal Express et son équipement de desserte au sol qui requiert une maintenance préventive, du dépannage, des réparations, des modifications et de la documentation.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides timely, quality, cost effective maintenance for Federal Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment which requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.

COMPÉTENCES REQUISES :

Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent

Certification/licence de technicien d’entretien d’automobile ou de technicien de camion et d’autocar

Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un bon dossier de conduite.

Sept (7) ans d’expérience d’un parc de véhicules

Expérience en maintenance parc automobile souhaitable

Compétences en dépannage électronique

Avoir une connaissance pratique de l’utilisation et de l’exploitation de tous les équipements de diagnostic d’automobile, des jauges et des outils associés au dépannage et à la réparation des équipements fonctionnant à l’essence, au diesel et à l’énergie hydraulique.

Avoir une connaissance de base de la soudure et des procédures de sécurité

Pouvoir soulever et manœuvrer seul des pièces de véhicule pesant jusqu’à 70 lb.

Doit pouvoir soulever et manœuvrer des pièces de véhicule de plus de 150 lb à l’aide d’un appareil mécanique.

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word — de base — Souhaitable

Applications Internet et intranet — De base

Doit posséder un ensemble complet d’outils à main pour automobiles ou camions, y compris des tailles métriques et des armoires de rangement pour ceux-ci


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician accreditations/certifications/licenses preferred

Valid Provincial Driver’s License

Seven (7) years fleet experience

Microsoft Word – Basic

Basic electronic troubleshooting skills

Must have working knowledge of use and operation of all automotive diagnostic testing equipment, gauges and tools associated with trouble shooting and repairs of gasoline, diesel and hydraulic powered equipment

Must have basic knowledge of welding and Safety procedures

Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Must own a complete set of automotive or truck hand tools including metric sizes and storage cabinets for same




REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Repairs, modifies and performs preventative maintenance inspections; troubleshoots for field vehicle fleet and ground support equipment service of G.S.E. and heavy equipment in shop and outdoor environments

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician certification/license

Must possess a valid G license and have a good driving record

Three (3) years of fleet experience

Fleet maintenance experience an asset

Electronic troubleshooting skills

Must have working knowledge of use and operation of all automotive diagnostic testing equipment, gauges and tools associated with trouble shooting and repairs of gasoline, diesel and hydraulic powered equipment

Must have basic knowledge of welding and safety procedures

Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components up to 70 Ibs

Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components above 70 Ibs with the help of appropriate lifting mechanical assistance

Inter/intranet applications – Basic

Diagnostic Software - JPRO® Professional Heavy Duty Software, Allison DOC® Fleets (1K/2K & 3K/4K), Cummins Insite Professional, Ford IDS w/VCM-2 Rotunda, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, Mercedes, C - (Preferred)

For Ramp positions, successful placement in the position is contingent on the applicant passing the Transport Canada, RCMP, and CSIS assessment, which is based on five (5) years verifiable background information. Must own a complete set of automotive or truck hand tools including metric sizes and storage cabinets for same
