Description
This position will be onsite in: Anchorage, Alaska. Candidates must live within a commutable distance from Anchorage to be eligible for this role. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
Job Duties
Maintains and repair all FEC facilities related equipment; maintains all designated electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and mechanical systems in accordance with established FEC maintenance procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma/GED. Valid Driver License required.
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years experience in a commercial industrial maintenance environment with background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and mechanical systems maintenance with heavy emphasis on properties and facilities
maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment and
procedures.. Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavy facilities related components, parts, and equipment with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Ability to
access equipment by crawling, laying, standing and/or climbing at all heights both above and below ground level. Good interpersonal and oral communications skills.
Job Conditions
Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be willing to work odd workweeks, overtime, holiday work, and rotating shifts.
This role is a step-progression role where hourly pay will increase every 6 months to a maximum of $32.44/hour

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. Pay: US Pay Range: $29.51/hr - $32.44/hr
