Description
Responsible for managing sales strategies and leading sales forces focused on small, medium, and large customer segments. Sets and executes sales objectives, provides direction to sales leadership teams, and allocates plan targets. Meets and exceeds quarterly activity goals, revenue, and profit objectives for each customer segment. Ensures sales management teams leverage product, customer, and market information to optimize results.
Essential Functions
- Builds effective teamwork within sales and support teams and across related functions.
- Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the development and implementation of sales strategies within FedEx domestically or internationally.
- Supports sales regions in planning, training, and administration to ensure continuity and consistency in sales programs.
- Plans and develops sales objectives and priorities for both global and local accounts.
- Develops strategic and tactical sales plans as well as associated policies and procedures.
- Responsible for product/service opportunities identification, SQI performance, development, and competitive market penetration.
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum Experience
Ten (10) years commercial sales and sales management experience, including demonstred successful management experience. Airfreight or other sales exerience in automated sales, international sales may be required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Significant experience in multi-account/business planning, formulating, and executing sales strategies.
Experience with automated sales systems and their applications. International sales experience may be required. Demonstrated skills in formulating and executing aggressive sales programs and strategies. Previous experience in initiating new or major market expansion sales programs, including the start-up of new sales organizations. Strong basic management, human relations, analytical, managerial, and communications skills.

Pay: US: $200,850 - $298,428 base salary
Additional Details: The desired location for this position would be located in the Western market. Must have access to a main airport for travel.

In California, the compensation listed reflects the range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position upon hire. In New Jersey, any compensable Security and Walk time will be paid to non-exempt/hourly employees at the state minimum wage.
