Description

Provides technical support in the research and coordination of projects/ assignments that cross departmental or divisional lines; acts as lead for organizational projects/assignments.

Essential Functions

  • Provides technical support for cross-departmental projects, administering corrective actions, assisting in responses to FAA inquiries, promoting continuous improvement programs.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, reviewing maintenance program changes for compliance.
  • Develop performance reporting systems.
  • Analyze productivity enhancements and assisting in budget planning and training program development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent preferably in Aeronautical, Quantitative, or Business discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of related aviation industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Knowledge of FAA regulations (especially part 121) and FedEx policies and procedures.

Knowledge of FedEx information systems, preferably those supporting aircraft maintenance.

Understanding of aircraft maintenance functions within Air Operations.
