A/C Vendor Project Management Specialist
Description
Manages, direct and control FedEx's heavy maintenance, modification and conversion programs at vendor facilities. Ensures that all activities are performed in accordance with the FedEx maintenance, modification and conversion specifications, schedule, configuration requirements, and quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Ensures all programs and work performed are in full compliance with the contractual requirements and the federal aviation regulations (FAR's).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in airline management, mechanical aerospace tech or engineering.
Valid FAA A&P license required.
Minimum Experience
Eight (8) years demonstrated/documented A/C MX, modification and/or conversion experience which includes three (3) years of A/C technician experience in a heavy MX, modification & conversion environment on transport category aircraft.
Experience in and knowledge of FedEx MX programs, FedEx general MX manual, the OPNS specifications & the applicable portions of the FARs. Experience in material practices, reliability programs & engineering apps.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication & interpersonal skills, safety sensitive position.
Job Conditions
Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week if necessary, rotating shifts & weekends as required.
Be willing & able to travel without restrictions.
Must be able to reach, climb, stoop & bend to gain access to all areas of the A/C while in heavy MX, storage or conversion and lift and maneuver heavy aircraft related components, parts, equipment, and manuals as necessary.
FAA covered safety sensitive position.
Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $13,984.53 - $13,984.53 USD Monthly
Additional Details: To be eligible for consideration, you must APPLY and UPLOAD your resume. The desired location for this position would be in Victorville, CA (VCV) location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
