Are you a driven, high-velocity sales professional with a "boots-on-the-ground" mastery of the Oman Express market?
We are looking for an Account Executive to drive commercial excellence and expand our footprint across Oman. In this critical role, you will apply specialist knowledge to execute sales processes, bridge the gap between local market opportunities and global business objectives, and act as a primary driver of revenue growth. Whether you are an ambitious associate or an experienced mid-level professional, this role offers the platform to leverage your expertise in express and freight forwarding to ensure FedEx remains the market leader.
What You Will Do
- Market Growth & Execution: Demonstrate a profound understanding of the Oman Express and Logistics market to identify, prospect, and capture emerging business opportunities.
- Process Implementation: Apply specialist knowledge in performing and reviewing specific sales processes and procedures to support the achievement of divisional and corporate revenue goals. Participates in (and occasionally leads) the design and development of local sales initiatives.
- Pipeline Management: Examine and manage every layer of your sales funnel—from ground-level prospecting and cold calling to high-level client presentations and pipeline forecasting.
- Operational Synergy: Utilize your understanding of the freight business to offer comprehensive, end-to-end logistics solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration with Operations and Customer Experience teams to deliver the "FedEx promise."
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong networks, leveraging influencing and persuasion skills to secure long-term, profitable partnerships.
What You Will Bring
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Express Sales is mandatory. Experience level within the job family (Associate vs. Mid-Level) will be aligned based on the successful incumbent's depth of expertise.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong, proven understanding of the freight business and logistics landscape in Oman.
- Core Skills:
- Excellent Presentation Skills and the ability to pitch to diverse business stakeholders.
- Strong Influencing, Persuasion, and Negotiation Skills to close competitive accounts.
- Exceptional Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
- Proven Networking Skills to build a robust local pipeline.
- License: A valid Oman driving license is required.
- National Talent: In alignment with Oman’s national localization goals (Omanisation), preference will be given to qualified Omani Nationals.
